I am tring to play back dvds using cineplayer. Everytime I open the program, I get a message saying that there is a problem with my sound device. In the control panel, all my hardware and drivers indicate that they are working properly.
-When I put CDs in my CD/DVD drive, they work perfectly.
-I tried to play back DVDs using windows media player. The program could read the file but I could only hear sound and the video resolution was really choppy.
I use a MOTU audio card for sound playback and recording. Before I installed this Audio card, I could not hear any sound coming from speakers or headphones connected to my integrated WORKSTATION card. Anytime I go in the volume section of the sounds and audio devices properties (in the control panel) it indicates that there is no audio device.
