Hello. I'm very new at all of this. I hope this question hasn't been asked yet. Here goes. How do you edit home video footage? All I can figure out is that I can shorten it but I can't cut it up and move different parts around, reassembling the footage. I have Creator special edition 2009. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Refer to the help topics in the program. You will want to use Video Wave (Edit Video-Advanced). Watch this. That will get you started. It is best to be in story line to move scenes around and to add transitions, effects, etc. Timeline is best for adding and adjusting audio.

 

Also refer to these; some may be for an older version but they are still valid (the names were changed but not the basic operational procedures.
