Roxio Creator is creating havoc

I purchased this product in good faith and what I got was something different than advertised. This program locks up my computer and throws everything into chaos. What puzzels me is on my initial download , I received an order # and key # that worked for awhile. The I got my backup disc and it had a different order # and key # and that is when it seems all hell broke loose. I need this kind of aggravation for this kind of money? Can't get anybody on the phone and all links seem to lead to nowhere. Sound familiar. I guess I'll have to let the world in on this website before others get screwed. If you were to explain a bit better what your problem is, maybe somebody will try to help you. What did you do that "all hell broke loose"? If everything was working why did you try to change anything?

If there was just some sort of an indication that this software was going to be a problem before I bought it, I would have ran as fast as I could the other way. If you are trying to help each other then start telling the unsuspecting suckers not to buy this garbage.

Good news! If you bought the product from Roxio (and it sounds like you did, because you mention buying a download then receiving a back up disc) you can get your money back -- as long as you purchased within 30 days -- no questions asked.

That is a clean install of the program. How could we have told you that you wouldn't follow normal install procedures if we users didn't know that you were going to even buy the program. Hint: Active AV programs, malware, a dirty and fragmented computer, etc. all contribute to a bad first install.

 

Time to calm down. if you really serious about getting some help.
