Simple DVD Label?

I have worked my way through a great DVD project and now am putting on the final touches with a label. Unfortunately the Avery template I am using isn't matching the physical label. Here are the basics:

 

Roxio 2009

Label: Avery Matte White Full Face - 8960, uses 8695 or 8931 templates

Printer: HP Officejet 6500

 

I ran the calibration and the printed labels are still pretty far off. I tried to push it around with the print preferences fine tuning, but the circumference that is output is actually larger than a DVD.

 

Any ideas?

UPDATE: Switched from my HP Officejet 6500 printer to my HP Photosmart 8450 and it seems to be working better. It's only off by fractions that I can deal with. I would bet there are probably some printer settings on the 6500 that would get it right. So, before you jump down Roxio's throat on this one, spend a lot of time with your printer settings.

Naw, I’d blame Label Creator

 

We have been trying to convince Roxio to improve or replace it but with all else going on, it isn’t a high priority…
