adding audio to a dvd

I am making a dvd with video and a slideshow. I want to add a song (mp3 from m itunes) to my slideshow. I get a message box that says it won't allow this format. any help?

Perhaps the file has drm and therefore you can't bring it in?

 

Itunes recently changed the way they sell their downloads, but for the longest time you could not bring itunes-purchased songs into programs due to "protection" added to the song from itunes....

Toast does not have an option to add audio to its slideshows. You'll either have to make a movie slideshow using another application such as iMovie or iPhoto or you need to use iDVD instead of Toast to get a DVD slide show with audio.
