I am running a Mac G4MDD 1.42 Dual with Mac OSX 10.4.11. When I try to burn a Mac Only DVD, encrypted, the application quits at the end of the burn, before Verification. The content size is 4.33GBs. The disk will mount and when opened the Disk Image file appears. However, when I try to open the Disk Image a dialog appears that says it is not recognized. I am burning an 8X Sony DVD-R disk at 4X. I have had only one successful burn out of 5, all at the same settings. The title of the successful burn was just "1998" and the Disk Image had the title "1998[1].dmg." The content size here was 3.31GBs The failed burns were titled "2006-2009_06 plus" and the disk image that appeared was titled "2006-2009_06.dmg. Don't know if the titling had anything to do with the failures or not but thought I would mention it. Also don't know why there was [1] in the successful burn. Would the content size have anything to do with the failures? Would appreciate any help I could get.
