Question on slide show for 2009

I'm using 2009 and creating a slide show. I've got slides, text on multiple tracks and music. When I insert a slide into the show, all the slides move out to the right, but the text tracks do not. How do I link the text tracks to the slides so they stay in sync and I can easly insert more pictures or video?

Place the text for each panel [what you are calling a slide I believe] on the internal tracks for the panel. That way if you move the panel or insert something else, they stay with that particular panel.
