vidio player will not show a picture on easy vidio to dvd

just got easy vhs to dvd was told it will copy vhs from my vidio player im new to this so be gentle i can copy from my camcorder in hi8 but canot from my vidio player i just cant get a pioctur have 3 diferant vidio players and none of them will pass a pictur to my laptop help

got easy vidio to dvd installed all software works on hi player. but when i put a vhs vidio in my vcr and the leeds stay the same it just wont work no pic wont highlite the burn icon very new to this need help please thanks.

just got easy vhs to dvd and was told it would send my vhs vidios to dvd hav tryed my hi8 cam and burnt fine but when i put the leeds in the vidio player i cant get a pictur and cant burn is it me or have i been missold somthing
