Roxio creator 2009

Hi can anyone help,

I have Roxio Creator 2009,on a Vista Home Premium OS,Each time I get to EMC11 Content the program rolls back,I have done everything that Roxio have suggested ie clean install,Removing any mention of Roxio,Sonic,etc,have even tried to install with safe mode but got a error code 0641.

This has been going on for over a week now,without being solved.

Anyone with a good suggestion,other than throwing it in the bin.

Thank you Big_Dave,

I have not got Roxio Creator 10 or any other Roxio products,the error number only came up when I tried to install in Safe Mode quite early during the installation.The roll back only happens almost at the end (quarter Inch)when it gets to EMC11 CONTENT.

OK, we tried to guess what your problem is and that doesn’t work… The error message Big Dave pointed you to is a 2009 error message if you had read it a little closer.

 

We are just users like yourself and the Error number tells us just as much as it tells you – nothing!

 

So you are going to have to watch the install close and take notes so we know exactly when/where/how it is failing. Then we might have a suggestion or 2.
