Before I open it, will Roxio Creator do what I need it to do?

Question

Hi. I want to take all my old videos and edit the footage into one video I can give to relatives at Christmas. I have the following types of files:

1. MiniDV footage that I paid to have converted to dvd. (Which I now see was an expensive mistake.) The dvds contain .vob and .iso files. I also have the original tapes.

2. Footage from my new camcorder which is in .wmv format; and

3. Clips from my digital camera which are in mvi format.

Before I open Roxio Creator and cannot return it, will I be able to take all of those files, convert them to whatever Roxio uses and then produce an edited film?

Thank you!
