My own post 'error message before cd completes install'

I tried to install Roxio Creator 2009 and got error messages. I have XP. After failing twice, I went online and found that others had the same problem and downloaded Pack 4. After waiting 3 hours the first time, we had a message "corrupted or invalid file". We tried again, this time 6 hours and thought we were finally going to use the software. When I click on the Roxio icon, the beginning screen is too large for the monitor and I have to c/a/d to close out. Do you have any ideas on how to correct this?

Please start your own thread instead of hijacking one. You have a completely different OS and software. What error messages are you getting. You have supplied very liitle information. If your install took 6 hours there is definitely something wrong with your system.

Also please list your system specs especially video card or graphics adaptor.
