Unable to hear audio

Unable to hear any audio; but can see the record levels move to the sound of the music so the computer is receiving the signal.

I have an older model Sony cassette tape player and have a red and white wire connected from the tape player's line out to the Easy DVD connection device.

 

I have checked all settings for sound on the computer and all settings are turned "on"

You may have other settings that might have to be changed.

If the meters move, you got Audio!!!

 

But you are probably running Vista and may not be able to hear it…

 

Capture it anyway, it will be fine.

It sounds like your Playback Sound setting is muted. What kind of sound card are you using?
