Roxio project compatability

I had a copy of Roxio Record Now 10 and made several audio projects.

 

I now have Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate, but I can't call up my projects saved on Roxio Record Now 10 as they have a .dmsa file extension and Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate has a .dmsc extension. Will I have to start from scratch and redo or is there a way to make my old projects compatible with Creator 2009 Ultimate?

What program from Creator 2009 are you using? I am not at my "correct" computer now but I believe Creator 2009 opens dmsa files using Roxio Music Disc Creator. Whether the Record Now 10 "dmsa" files are compatible with Creator 2009 is another questions. Unfortunately, many if not most project Roxio/Sonic project files created in earlier programs are not compatible with later program versions.
