Show Repeats

slantt

Question

I made an AVI of a slide show I created in VideoWave. I did this using the VideoWave Output menu and chose "Export as..." which brought up the 'MakeMovie box. There I chose MPG4(AVI) as tghe o/p format. But the AVI repeats itself after reaching the end. How can I stop that?

Where does the AVI repeat itself? Perhaps you have you player set to repeat. As far as I know VW has no setting for looping the video

It plays the whole AVI with no problem and when it reaches the end, goes back to the beginning and repeats itself. I've reviewed it under the ROXIO review capability, played it in Windows Media Player, played it with KMPlayer, transferred it to DVD and played it on my DVD player - they all repeat the same way.

Does it continously loop or only once? Have you looked at the Videowave project to see if it somehow as been "duplicated".

What happens when you load the project in VW and play it? Where does the timeline cursor jump to when the slideshow ends?

There are no settings in Videowave that will cause the video to repeat itself since VW does not contain any controls on how it is played - at least I have never heard of any

It's strange. The AVI version looped back to the beginning of the show continuously - seemed to be in an endless loop, at least endless for me after sitting though the show more then 10 times at once. But wait - I made an MPG instead of an AVI and the problem disappeared...(Don't ask me, I have no idea)...then I used WinDVDCreator to burn a DVD and all was good.
