Recording raw video back to dv tape

jdansinger

Question

How can I record raw video captured with VideoWave back on to a DV tape for archiving? I would like to organize my tapes by subject, but often single tape will contain clips from several different projects. I need to organize and re-record them so the footage for a project are all on the same tape.

Thanks,

Dan

Put the video onto a storyline in VideoWave.

When you're done, do a File\ Output production to.... DV Camcorder. Then render the video.

At the end you should be able to output it to your camcorder. Now at the last step, it fails with some camcorders. In those cases, find the new file in your Media Selector. Right click on it and choose Output to DV recorder.

Of course, you've got to have your camcorder settings correct to receive the input.
