I'm having the same problem as many others here, trying to install Creator 2009 from a disc. Creator 2009 rolls back when it starts to install the EMC11 content.
I've tried the following steps several times, all without success
- Clean install for Vista
- uninstalled .net framework v3.5
- tried to rename dsetup.dll in system 32 folder but there is no such file
- disabled firewall, uninstalled anti-virus & taken modem offline
- rebooted
- applied the '2009 disc hotfix'. Message comes up that it 'could not locate key to remove'
- ran installation
I've tried the installation from the disc, from the HDD after copying it & even under a new administrator user.
Any ideas on what to try next?
I'm running a Dell desktop (Inspiron 530S which exceeds the recommended spec for Creat 2009) & using Vista
