Easy VHS to DVD

I'm using Windows XP Home, also using Maxwell DVD+RW and a S-video connector.

The program works well up to the Set Productions Options, next is the problem. Capture Review appears for only seconds then changes to white with the hour glass and for several minutes comes back with Unknown Capture Error. At this point my screen is frozen, computer is frozen. Push the button and get my computer back.

The Easy part of Easy VHS to DVD was paying for the package and then it ended.

I have the exact same frustration, except I don't freeze. I just get it to capture for a few seconds, then it stops capturing, and gives me the cryptic message "Unknown Capture Error." Like someone said on a different thread, it's like telling your mechanic "Car doesn't work." Throw me a bone here, Roxio!

 

gettingolder, if you find a solution, please let me know. I will do the same.
