Playing back burned dvd no sound

I finally got the vhs to dvd installed now when burn a dvd it will play in my dual player which is a vhs /dvd player no problem...When I try and play the dvd in a hdmi player I get no sound... Does any out there know of a fix for this problem.. Thanks for any help on this..Oh yes finally got the product installed by turning off the anti virus while installing...
