easy vhs to dvd editing

I am trying to remove a scene from a captured video. I go launch video-wave, select the video to be editied,clicked on the timeline in production editor.

roxio says to click plus on the timeline track at the beginning position

I do not see any plus sign to click on. can anyone help? Thanks [/size]

Move the blue timeline cursor to the position to the start of the section you want to remove. Click the split icon. Move the cursor to the end of section and click the split icon. Select the section between the splits and click the red X.

 

Remember this does not physically remove any video - the orginal video is never changed unless you deliberately overwrite it.
