Capture problem (Sony DSC W-120)

Trock

Question

I am having trouble capturing from my camera. Windows XP has a pre-installed driver for my camera, but when I try to capture photos, my camera does not show up in the device window. I went to the Sony site, but as XP already has the driver, there isn't one on the Sony site to download. How can I get Roxio to recognize my camera and show it in the device window?

Thanks... Tom

If Windows Xp does not see your camera as just another device ther is something wrong with your connection.

How have you connected the camera to your PC? The camera has a USB connection and once connected to your PC the camera show up as a file folder and you should be able to simply copy the photos from the camera to your hard drive. There is no need to do any capturing.
