I posted this in the top (EMC general) section on the theory that the tools section doesn't get much attention, but i'll post here too. While there is a fix for my problem pinned at the top of this section, it is less than totally satisfactory. The problem is that when working in the booklet format the Chapter list disappears after you enter it. The "fix" tells you to select a different style and the list will reappear, after which you can revert back to your original style and the list will still be there. That works...BUT-- any editing done to the text is lost. So for example if the text was white or yellow in order to be visible against a dark background, it "reappears" as black, in effect reverting to default. Anybody have any similar experience--and/or ideas.
The obvious solution is to use another labeling program, but on principle this program should work--and it should work without that silly "change styles" fix which is so Rube Goldberg that it is a joke (as is the calibration tool, but that is a whole 'nuther Oprah).
