I have made a movie from a couple of DVD. Everything is perfect but when I burned it, the sound didn't come over. What did I do wrong. I can hear it on the old dvds.

Thanks

Uhhhh, not a bit of telling, since you gave no information on what program you used, and what steps you did.

From what DVDs did you make the movie?

I had copy old vhs tape to dvds before I learn about vhs to dvd converting. I used a software called AVS Video converted6 to change from a Video-TS IFO file to a AVI. file. That was the only way to use Roxie easy VHS to DVD moving making software. The clips played good in the movie on the computer, and I linked them together. Everything was fine. But when burn them to a dvd only the clips show - no sounds when I played it back on the TV.

Thanks

If you had a Video_TS folder on the DVD, all you had to do was copy the folder to your hard drive, launch myDVD, add the IFO file and burn. There is no need to do anything else. There is no need to convert to avi.

I don't understand what you mean by this statement: "I had copy old vhs tape to dvds before I learn about vhs to dvd converting."

I think I get it???

Main thing is that the DVD’s you made are your Source now. I am guessing that the Audio was OK on the DVD’s?

Do the process that Walt described and burn onto a DVD RW disc. – RW’s are reusable and great for testing.

Just make sure you leave out that 3rd Party software from the process.
