Hang when adding AVI file

I've not tried any other file formats, as I do not have any others on my computer. Whenever I add an AVI file into Toast so that I can burn it to DVD, the program stops responding. It appears to be doing something, as it shows anywhere from 97-102 in the CPU usage column of Activity Monitor, but the memory usage doesn't change. The program will not respond to mouse clicks, etc. All I get is that annoying beach ball as if to say, "We're working on it, just look at this cool beach ball in the meantime." Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to uninstall the software and reinstall it and see if that rectifies my issue. Using Toast Titanium 10.0, as soon as the 10.0.2 update finishes downloading I'll try that, and if it doesn't work, I will reinstall.

Yep, the 10.0.2 update has the same behavior. Any ideas?
