Extract sound track from .vob files ?

Copy the VOB files to your computer and rename them to mpg. Make sure they are really changed to the the mpg format and not just "Name.mpg.vob". Open Video Wave and browse to those files. Right click on it and you'll get a dialog box to extract audio. You will probably have to use Sound Editor to make sure the breaks (from the VOB) files are in the right place.

 

Renaming the files works for most people but not everyone.

 

Does anybody know if it is possible to extract edit and save as a separate file the sound tracks from DVD .VOB files.
