Burning ISO Image with Creator DE

Recommended Posts

I am using Roxio Creator DE to burn ISO image to CD/DVD. It burns fine but all I get is a copy of the ISO. What am I doing wrong? I purchased a CD online and downloaded .ISO file. Now I am trying to get it to a usable CD.

Not sure which version the OEM Dell edition (DE) version that you have is based on, since you didn't note the #, but it's probably based on EMC v10 or v9. Knowing that would help, since OEM versions have limited functionality compared to the retail versions.

It sounds like you burned a Data Disc project. You need to be using the function to burn a Disc Image. If you open upthe main app, on the left should be a Data or Data-Copy section you can select. In that section look for something labeled Burn Disc Image and choose that and see if it works.

What type/kind of downloaded CD ISO file is this?

Below in my signature the free # 9 should take care of your needs.
