Sense Key Error

I was trying to burn a DVD when I got the following error:

 

Sense Key Error = Hardware error

Sense Code = 0x09, 0x01

tracking servo failure

 

Does any one know what this means?

Sounds like Drive error

 

1. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaner

2. Try using different brand of DVD media, preferably Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden

3. Test with a different drive

This has been debated on these forums before. Lens cleaners were never made for a DVD burner lens, in fact most drive makers warn against using them! It's your drive your $'s you decide....

I just tried another disc and seemed to work OK.

I have a MAC and can not access the DVD lense, not that I want to anyway, we will see if it happens again.
