Invisible Text

Trey Jones

Question

Ive been having a problem with invisible text in Roxio Creator 2009 but now it has also happen in Creator 2010. It worked for Roxio Creator 2009 but all of a sudden it became invisible. The weird thing is it doesnt happen to all the program just two which are Roxio Creator Classic and Roxio Label Creator. Every other program has the text but for some reason it just these two and its everything in the program. If anyone has any ideas let me know im puzzled. This is what it looks like. capture2db.jpgcapture3g.jpg. The others look fine. capturevsz.jpg.

I've read something like this before on Creator 2009 but it was said to be because his graphic card was too old. That shouldnt be the case here. Here are my specs.

@Jim_Hardin

What I mean by it still had my settings saved is I had set the main program to no Particpate in the User Experience, unchecked display relevant product infomation, unchecked Enable Learning Center, and unchecked Check for update at start of application but after I did the clean install and reinstalled the settings were still there as i setted them. But ive followed that link you set me line for line.

Ive left everything default and its current set on Let the 3D application decide. I've already resetted all the nvidia settings to default after being suspect of the graphics card driver.

Btw thank you everyone for the ideas and time

I keep my driver updated to the lastest and I have checked and its still on 96 DPI. I hate to do a clean install just for one program. By it may have to come to that

You said it was 2 programs :lol:

Anyway – there is a Repair option in 2010 through Add/Remove Programs… You could try that first.

What is your video card make/model? What resolution are you running at?

How do you have the nVidia Control Panel set? We have seen strange things when users have the video card setup for gaming. Go the Control Panel and choose the nVidia icon. Needs to be set for 'application control'. If you do gaming, I think you can setup profiles for different uses in the nVidia Control Panel.
