I am having trouble with Toast 8 and DVD+RWs previously erased using Disk Utility's Completely Erase function. Toast's Erase window says that discs erased using Toast's Quick Erase can only be rewritten in Toast. I have been unable to find anything anywhere on the effect either of Disk Utility erase options has on burning discs with Toast. Whenever I load a DVD+RW completely erased in Disk Utility, Toast's Disk Info option tells me there is one track on the disc and Record says the disk is not writeable.
I have struggled with this problem for quite some time. I had it with Leopard and now have it with Snow Leopard. I have tried 2 or 3 disc brands without it making any difference. I would appreciate any help I can get to solve it.
