VideoWave 8 Problem

I have just purchased and installed Roxio Media Creator 8. I am able to capture video and save it but when I go to edit the video, after adding the video to a new production, I get an error message "The number of panels in the production is 0". Please, any help?

I'm having the same problem. Error says the number of panels is zero. Preview screen is blank/black, but a thumbnail is in the storyboard/timeline. Audio works if I push play, but no video. Can't edit in MyDVD or VideoWave. I also sometimes get the error number 80040273 when I close out the program.

 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled EMC8 (not deluxe) twice. I have DirectX9 or higher, video card with 64MB. Running on XP Home edition. It may help to know I am using imported IFO files converted to DivX, but the problem happens with other formats, too (.avi and .mov).

 

HELP??? I need to burn 30 DVD's for my neice's middle school chorus by Tuesday (5/30/06)

You have not given any information to work with such as computer specs, display card, etc. so it is hard to offer any solutions.

Perhaps if you described exactly what you are doing someone may offer help. What EMC 8 version (essentials, suite or deluxe) do you have. What program component are you using.

Also if you give Roxio a call you will propably not be charged for your call.

Obviously your problem has not occured very much otherwise you would have gotten some response.

This problem popped up before, but the only other time that it popped up, the OP was a hit and run poster and never came back.

BTW, I found the URL listed above by typing in the key words of the original poster (OP), in the search box at the top of the screen. Any of you could have easily done that too.

I returned the program. Actually was given a full refund. I have not had good luck with Roxio products before.

Glad it worked out for you. It is always frustrating when software doesn't seem to be working properly.

I had the same problem, but updating the Graphic Driver fixed this!

Update your vedio card driver. Hope this does the trick!
