slow burning

the burning process is too slow 2 hours of movie takes 4 hours to burn what should i do convert my file? Save to iso first my hardware has plenty of room but encoding takes 4ever. Is avi faster? Should i convert to another formatt. Please help :)

It all depends what speed processor you have. List your computer specs.

 

If your processor is around 2 GHz, then that sounds about right for the amount of time it takes to encode your production.

Sorry to disappoint you , but 4 hours is NOT a long time especially for a 2 hour long movie. That's only 2X the length of the movie. With my last computer, AMD ATHLON 3000+, it took 4X to 5X the movie length. How much you have edited will also affect the processing time. Things like transitions, effects, overlays, and additional audio will all add to the processing time.

 

Rendering video files is a very complex process.
