DVD Playback

gegerutko

Question

The DVD's I create with EMC-8 will not play continuously to the end. They stop after each menu/movie requiring the user to highlight the next button and hit "play" each time.

I have a DVD in progress that is intended for my grandaughter's graduation. It has 10 slideshows with audio background and will have short videos in between those. It should run close to an hour. There must be some way to link these together so the final DVD can play from start to finish without stopping.

What in the world is wrong? I'm ready to take a hatchet to something. I have only 2 weeks left. I bought EMC-8 specifically for this project. I haven't had this problem with DVDs using Creator 6, but they are not as complicated.

Please! please! Can someone help? Thanks.

You can load the slideshows and the bideos into Videowave and export them into one file. or you could get EMC 8 Deluxe which give you the option to choose the action after the video is finished playing.

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using EMC8 Deluxe. I don't quite understand what you mean by choosing the action after the video is finished playing.

after you import the video files on the menu, right click on it then choose Show settings. There should be a field in Link called After Playing. You can select the file you want to play after the current file is finished.
