When I try to uninstall, same. Searching through Roxio I can't even get a definition. I'm thinking of a full system restore, but I'd rather not. Desperate due to impending wedding. please help! Download, install, and run the Microsoft Cleanup Utility. Get rid of all Roxio and Sonic entries. Then, download and install the latest Microsoft Installer. I think it is 3.1. Also try the first suggestion in this post (fix permissions): http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?...&hl=permissions Make sure that you have administrative rights when editing the registry and when installing Creator 8.
