I have successfully made an AVCHD disc that plays 1920x1080 HD from a standard DVD, by dragging the footage straight into Toast. What I want to do now is create a "Blu-ray" disc in Adobe Encore CS4 with menus, save that as an .iso file, then import the .iso into Toast and burn an AVCHD disc.
I choose "Copy", then "Image File", click "Select" to load the saved .iso file, set the menu in the lower right corner to "DVD", and click the big red button. The disc burns, but my Samsung Blu-ray player (which played the other AVCHD disc just fine) can't read the resulting disc.
I am able to create a standard DVD .iso in Encore, import it into Toast, and create a playable standard DVD.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
