Kjetil Aarhus
Hi all I have a strange problem with Toast 10. I´ve edited a project using Final Cut Express, and exported it using "Quick Time Movie". I´ve dragged and dropped it into Toast, and started the recording using Blu-Ray on a DVD disc. After just 3% of encoding the result code -18771 appears, telling me there´s a problem with the source material. Another project stopped at 75% with the same erroe, and a third worked just fine. All were 1920x1080i Apple Intermidiate Codec 25 fps. And all 3 projects 10 to 13 mins in lenght. Any suggestions?
0 tsantee
Have you tried both the MPEG 2 encoding and the MPEG 4 encoding options in Toast to see if that makes any difference?
0 ComPH
As we discussed elsewhere, this is a new bug introduced with the latest releases of Toast. 10.0.2 works just fine with files giving that error message using the 10.0.4. Does Roxio use QA department and beta testing, or are they using customers for that? All these problems with 10.0.3 and 10.0.4 were found within hours, nothing all that subtle....
