milroy
I'm trying to edit song information from my Music folder. After I select a song title, then I right click>edit song information and I get the Roxio Edit Audio Tag. However, none of the changes that I input on the Title, Artist, album ect... are peserved to the song information in my song titles in My music folder. So, what are the precise instruction for this proceedure. Specifically, after I input the changes, what are the next steps? My Roxio program is Roxio Creator Home Premier 360Mb. Thanks, Gerry

Thanks, Gerry That a new one on me ! I don't think I ever heard of that version. What is the application you are using. Look to the upper left in the window you are working in and that should be the name of that application. \Where did you get it? Are you editing the music tag or just the music information? It's Roxio SD 10.2 which was given to me last year, and, I'm editing the music information which is listed in my music titles. Initially, it did work. I was able to edit song titles in my music files. If you have a way of receiving screenshots, please let me know. thanks, Gerry
REDWAGON
"I'm editing the music information which is listed in my music titles" What do the music titles look like now as far as the name ? Are they MP3, wav files or are they like track1.cad, track2,cda etc. ? Not familiar with the program you said you have either, but it sounds like one that came installed on your computer. As sknis suggested, let us know where and how you got the program. Then based on that and a few more particular details about the music files you have now, will help with a solution. Frank... Thanks, Gerry In Windows (XP, Vista and Windows 7) you can right-click on the file, select Properties, go to Summary, select Details, and knock yourself out! With Vista and 7 you can do so also for several of selected, say, MP3 files and change Genre, Year, Album, etc., etc.

jeanrosenfeld
In Audio Tag editor, if you want your own title and other track info, make sure trhat the Use music ID tags box is unchecked before you click done. You can also check the box to embed tag info for some formats.

I did use the Audio Tag Editor successfully a few months ago. Perhaps, I need step-by-step instruction? Another conundrum................. Thanks for your input.
