Whenever I try to write to my DVD-RW the program tells me that the disk is write-protected. These are disks that I am trying to reuse.

How were they wrote to the first time (application name)?

In what application are you trying to write to them now?

You don't need the data that's on them?

If you have Roxio Creator 2010 from the Home screen, tools, erase disc..

1. It's been along time and I'm not sure what I used to Write to the disks

2. I'm trying use the Creator 10 Suite program.

3. There is no data on them because I reformatted them a couple of months ago.

I will try erasing them but I am not real hopeful.
