I hope this is the right discussion forum for my problem. I have an eMac with OS 10.4. I have a movie that I made, ready to go and in iMovie and iDVD. (I have iDVD 5.0.1 and iMovie HD 5.0.1.) I also have a brand new Lacie d2 external DVD disc drive which I would like to burn my movie onto. I am hitting some snags. The latest is that whenever I drag the project into the Toast 7 screen and try to record, the thing tells me "CD-ROM XA or Audio tracks canot be written to DVD." I don't know what this means, since what I have that I want to burn onto the disc is a video. I'm using the DVD+R that was supplied with the external disc drive. The same thing happens when I try to use some DVD-Rs that I have. I'm wondering: do I need to conver this iMovie file to something else using the Export function in Toast 7? Or do I need to use the iDVD version of the file? (Whenever I try that, it just tells me that that format is not supported.) Am I missing something?
