Installation Issue

laxman22

Question

Having issues using this software as when I try to launch a project I get a "pop-up" window which is Titled ""Roxio Cineplayer Decoder Pack". It wants me to insert my Roxio Creator 9XE disk which I cannot locate. Creator 9XE came with an Aleratec Burner purchased months ago. Can anyone offer assistance?

Check e-Bay for an inexpensive copy of this Legacy product (3 year/versions old) or contact Aleratec. For the price of their products, they should have given you the full version and not a cut down OEM castrated version. I'm not sure if the decoder pack from Roxio ($15) would help you. You might be able to go into Windows msconfig.exe and turn off the auto start for Cineplayer. Of course, you would still not be able to use CinePlayer because of the missing codecs.
