See if any of these suggestions work.

Many thanks - I managed to complete a burning - although when I then went to burn a second disc the original fault came back up again.

Still, at least I managed to record one disc.

Also, whilst I was putting the photoshow together I lost sound from my computer's speakers. The connections are all fine - and I've tried some earphones that also don't work. Do you know what the cause might be? ( I appreciate probably nothing at all to do with the burning issue)

Thanks

Is that a mis-type? PhotoShow is an application. Are you using that or something else. If you are using CineMagic (not usually used for a slide show), that is by design. If not, go into Windows audio settings and make sure that something is not muted in playback.

Put your slide show together in Video Wave if you are not already doing so. When you go to burn to a disc, use MyDVD (or whatever the name is in your version) and select burn to an image (ISO) file. Once that is done, use Creator Classic to burn the ISO file to a disc. You can use that ISO file as many times as you want. There would be no need for any additional encoding.

Sorry - I meant a slide show (put together in Video Wave)

What I meant was that I burnt the ISO file to disc successfully - then, when I used the same ISO file for a second burning it failed.

I'll try again tonight.

+ I've sorted the sound problem

Regards
