Video capture, no audio

I am using Media Import to capture S Video via a Pinnacle analogue TV card and computer Line In to the sound card. Roxio does not recognise any audio input. This arrangement works fine with Pinnacle Studio but not with this software. Has anyone come across this problem? Any suggestions would be welcome.

I'm not sure if this will help but if you use Cinemagic to edit your video, it does not import the native video. To do this you have to use Videowave. Joe

In Media Import, did you choose the audio card as the audio source?
