VideoWave Crash when Export NTSC format .AVI

john49

Question

I keep crashing out of VideoWave when exporting selecting the NTSC radio button in the Output ->Export -> Make Movie panel.

Just trying to export (combine) a few .AVI files created from my Sony camcorder.

Windows Vista, Service Pack2, I have an ATI Radeon HD3650 Video Card. If I select PAL as the format everything works ok.

Do you get any error messages?

What is the make/model of the Sony camcorder?

What are you selecting as your "purpose"? What video quality? What do you plan to do with the final video file?

If you are in North America its always NTSC.

Do you get any error messages?

- Either computer is completely locked up or Windows BLUE Screen Hardware error

What is the make/model of the Sony camcorder?

- Ignore this, last night I tried only .JPG files and had the same problem.

What are you selecting as your "purpose"? What video quality? What do you plan to do with the final video file?

- Purpose = DVD Playback

-MPEG-2 for DVD, Best Quality

- Want to burn a slide show to DVD, but not even getting that far, just want to consolidate some files into an .AVI or MPEG first.

If you are in North America its always NTSC.

If I select Both or PAL, the VideoWave exports works fine.
