Can I burn a disc image with vhs to dvd?

Brad Steinfeldt

Question

I'm using Roxio Easy VHS to DVD. I want to make multiple copies of the dvd I made, so I made an .iso image with my first burn. But, I haven't found a way to burn from the image file. Does it require an upgrade or something?

I also haven't found a way to just make multiple copies when doing my first run. Is this the same issue?

VHS2DVD does not include the program to burn iso files to a disc since it is a limited version of the full Roxio suite.

There is a free utility program available which will allow you to burn the iso files (plus a lot of other features), Here is the link to Imgburn

Thanks! I figured that was the case, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Is this program better than upgrading to the Roxio full suite?

I tried Express Burn, downloaded it, but it's giving me a problem with DVD+RDL disks. VHS2DVD has no problem, so I know my DVD burner works fine with these disks.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What program are you referring to? Of course Roxio 2010 (the latest full suite) is better then VHS2DVD since it includes dozens of additional features such as burning data discs, etc. You can't compare Imgburn and C2010 - Imgburn is strictly a burning program!

I know nothing about Express Burn. I think that every guru on this board recommends Imgburn.
