I have a similar issue that I hope can be resolved. I'm using EMC 9 and I converted an MPG file to MP4 to save disk space, yet when I try to create the DVD it says that I'm overrunning the capacity by 45 mins. The video is 3 hours long and I'm presuming that there is a more suitable format, but I also tried the same file as an AVI (even smaller file size) with the same results - overrun by 45 mins.
All I want to do is play the video on my DVD player with a simple launch button menu (no chapters or chapter menus). Will I have to resort to the double capacity DVD's or is there a way to fit the file on a 4.7 GB disk with just the simple menu I described?
