I have just installed Creator 2009 on my Windows 7 64 bit system and it will not run because windows tells me it is incompatible with windows 7! Yet on Windows compatability centre it tells me Creator 2009 is compatible has anyone had a similar experiance?

Install it and to be on the safe side w/o any antivirus program active.

Apply Creator2009SP4 and pxengine3_00_58a before you try to run;

then you should be fine.

Roxio Creator 2009 runs fine on my PCs with Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and 64bit.

It installed for me and worked only a short time before it started having problems. It is not compatible and the best you're likely to get is only a few of apps working.

Maybe a sledgehammer would help get it through to you. Windows Compatibility Center is wrong! Creator 2009 doesn't work with Win 7 - 64 bit.
