On my old computer I had a Roxio product on which I burned at least 3000 copies of a MPEG Video file (Movie Clip 93,000 KB). Today I plugged in the old computer to check what Roxio product I had so that I could order the upgrade. When I switched on the surge protector after my computer was plugged in, I heard a sickening pop - no more old computer. Do you want to simply burn a copy of the mpeg file to a CD? If yes then then you don't need any additional software since W7 will "burn" files to a CD as data files? If you want to create a VCD (a video CD) then you will need new software. If you want to upgrade to a version compatible with W7 then you should get Roxio Creator 2010.
