Can't highlight "DVD 8.5GB" or "High Quality (HQ)"

impulse001

Question

Hey all,

I have a bit of an issue.. I have Roxio Creator 2009, which has always worked fine on both of my computers.. I just upgraded my computer to Windows 7, and after I installed Roxio Creator 9 and attempted to open it, it said it was not compatible. I then updated the Roxio to service pack 4 and that let me open it up.

However, when I try to burn a DVD, I hit the drop down for "Disk Size" and I cannot highlight DVD 8.5GB. I had always been able to use it on Windows Vista, but not now.. The same gos for High Quality under the "Quality" tab. They both show there, but I cannot highlight them.

I did make sure all my drivers and firmware was up to date.

Any help is much appreciated.

I haven't seen any post or heard anything about any patch to make C2009 Win7-compatible.

You had it working in the OS that the software is advertised to work with:

  • Microsoft® Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows XP SP2 or SP3 (32 or 64 bit) with 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM

Roxio Creator 2009 is not certified to be compatible with Windows 7.
