Roxio 2009 Ultimate sp4 crash

Hi,

 

When doing a fresh install of Roxio 2009 Ultimate on WXP Pro, i get the following error message:

 

cannot delete target file ....\roxio creator 2009 ultimate\audio core\capture framework11.dll

 

a quick search yielded no hits on the message, anyone else seen this before?

 

can anyone tell me how to work around this and get the sp installed? every time i try and start roxio, it crashes and tells me that i need to install the sp, so i'm stuck right now.

I haven't seen this specific error before but you can try this:

 

Clean install instructions for Creator 2009 and Creator 2010 on Windows XP

 

Be sure that your antivirus is disabled during the installation prcocess.

 

After a successful installation of Creator 2009, then apply sp4.
