If you mean Windows, I have both SP1 & SP2 installed. I have not loaded SP3. Thanks

No, if I meant Windows Service Packs I would have asked that…

I specifically asked if you had installed "…SP2 for your software" Windows in not software, it is an Operating System.

Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Capture is "software". Open the Home app and click on Help about. If you got it, it will look like this:

Need to know your PC specs, like I have in my signature.

And the amount of Free Space you have on your HDD.

Lastly, in the Roxio program, click on Help About and give us the actual name of the Suite as well as the Version Number.

There are a few things that can cause this so we need that info to help narrow it down.

I check the version again there is no SP2 in it. Where do I find the up date? I check the update in the help section did not show any.

Then you have to spell it out, I am a person, not a mind reader! I am just a fellow user but if that isn't enought to make you happy, I can end this right now.

It boils down to this.

Your PC is at the bottom rung of the required specs so you have to have everything perfect. Hence the stress on making sure everything is updated.

What capture settings are you using?

What is your HDD free space?

Have you defragged recently, like today?

Sorry, Some of the chat line I talk on I found out they were auto chat like people p, verizon, and 123 they want me to do the same thing over and over again.

I do not no where the capture settings are or what to do with them.

If you mean where it says "C" in My computer it says 16gb free space.

I defragged a last week.

I know you do not want to here this, since I am not good on computers I will say it any way. I bought VHS to DVD at Staples took Tower over Staples to install, told them I did want if would not work on this old computer. Got my Tower it was a mess. Had computer Tech from shop come in he got every thing to work again. He said it was proable the best it would do on this old of computer. This will be my last reply Thanks

Go to the Top of this page – Support – Software Updates

At the right, enter your product.

You will have to talk to Gateway about updates to your Video Card.

OK, so you don't even have Creator 2010, right? Just the V2D software and you have not updated that to its' SP2 version…

Otherwise it seems to meet/exceed the minimums needed.

First step woudl be to download and apply the SP2 for your software.
