Thanks for the adivce Hi jmjldy - I know this is a shot gun answer, but this is a pretty common check list for install issues prior to installing: Preparing your computer for installing Roxio products Some of them are pretty obvious, but some of them are common oversights. Yes, updating your burner's firmware probably won't fix anything, but the rest are pretty good ideas to look over and apply if you take another stab at installing.
