Walter Graves
I have audio cassetts from the 50s and 60s and would like to digitize them, clean them up and burn onto CDs for Xmas presents for family. I had Roxio 9 but could not get it to work. Bought Roxio 2010 and still unable to get it to work. Not too computer savy and need step by step instructions on how to make this happen. Help! Big_Dave
On the main menu of Creator 2010 select MUSIC AUDIO on the left side of the screen. When the new screen appears, select Digitize LPs and Tapes under IMPORT. A how to screen should appear.
d_deweywright
Are you using a cassette deck to play your tapes? Assuming so, you should have a "Y" adapter cable with two RCA style plugs going from the cassette deck "Play" or "Out" jack to the (probably) blue "line-in" jack on your sound card. Once you do that, you should be able to play your tape and hear it through your PCs speakers. Let us know if you're that far.
